Privacy Policy

HelpmeNapoli is operated by La Vita Verace LLC, doing business as HelpmeNapoli, based in Naples, Italy ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we handle on helpmenapoli.com and in the HelpmeNapoli app, and your choices. We keep it short because we collect very little.
The short version
- You do not need an account to use the app or the website.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not show ads or track you across other apps or websites.
- We only collect personal details when you send us a request, such as a booking, a date request or a contact message.
What we collect
- Requests you send us. When you request or book an experience, a corporate training quote or send a message, we receive the details you type in: your name, your WhatsApp number or email, your preferred dates, group size and any notes or answers you add.
- Reminders on your device. If you turn on game day or strike alerts in the app, the reminders are scheduled on your phone. We do not receive them.
- Preferences stored on your device. The app may save small settings on your phone, such as your language or saved items. These stay on your device.
- Basic technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider and the services we use may log technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep things running securely.
The app asks for your location only if you choose to use the maps and walking tours, and only while the app is open. It uses your location on your phone to show where you are and to open each tour stop as you arrive. We do not receive or store it. The maps are provided by OpenStreetMap, which can see roughly the area of the map you are viewing. The app does not access your contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
How we use it
We use what you send us only to reply to you, organize the experience or training you asked about, and run our business, for example to see how many people are interested in a date. We do not use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
We use a small number of service providers to operate the app and website. They process information only on our behalf:
- Supabase, which stores the app and website data, including requests you submit.
- Formspree, which delivers form submissions to us by email.
- Our web host, which serves helpmenapoli.com.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there or join our group. Their own privacy policy applies.
The app and site also link to partner tours on GetYourGuide. If you follow those links, GetYourGuide handles your booking and its own privacy policy applies. We never receive your payment details.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for as long as needed to respond to you and organize the experience, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to stop contacting you. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you also have rights under data protection law, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.
Children
The app and website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this page.
